blah.

so it's a dreary tuesday morning in my world, the same as i imagine it is in your worlds. i just finished having an interview with Progressive for a claims rep trainee position. i'm not sure how i did. i hate interviewing. i get so nervous talking while someone's taking notes, judging me. argh. so we'll see if i hear back with a "yea" or a "nay". i really don't want to work at T-mobile anymore. i hate sales. i REALLY hate working with a particular co-worker of mine. don't get me started on that.

i hope everyone's summer went well. it seems that we all took a summer break from emailing, even though sandy's the only one who actually HAS a summer break. how'd all your traveling and stuff go, sandy? fun fun?

this was my nebraska trip, briefly paraphrased: went to the zoo. mark took lots of pictures. shot shit with my sister's .357. drank a lot. ATE even more. lots of omaha steak products, lots of ice cream cake, and lots of corn-on-the-cob, of course. saw "march of the penguins" (very cute!!). drank some more..... eh, that was about it.

oh, and in the midst of that, a drunk drove into the back of jeff's car (my sister's fiance) while it was parked on the side of the street one night. 4am, and some drunk kid driving in nothing but his UNDERWEAR, plows his little chevy piece of shit into the back of jeff's buick regal at 70mph. the regal is totalled. the drunk sped away, somehow made it through a roundabout, but missed a slight turn in the road, so he launched himself onto the grass and plowed through a fence, some trees, some rock garden-fence thing, and almost drives into a house. he was stumbling around in his boxers, trying to get away, when the cops showed up. too bad his chevy didn't have another airbag. it deployed when the chevy hit the buick regal, but then there wasn't another airbag to stop the kid's face from hitting the windshield when he mowed down the fence and trees. so he got taken to the hospital. meanwhile, jeff's got a rental car through the insurance company while he debates buying another hoopdie.

that was the main event of my trip to nebraska. that and midwest airlines gives you 2 warm chocolate chip cookies on your flight. (in addition to that dinky bag of pretzels that everyone gives you). you can buy our approval for cheap, just a couple of cookies. :)

anyway, time to make another cup of tea before i trudge off to work. luckily the particular despised co-worker's off today, so i don't have to deal with him. jerk. this is why tuesdays are my most favorite work day of the week. ha ha. i'll talk to you later kids.

Change in Scenery

So, I am working on my resume...thinking about moving on to the next job...my job now isn't progressing how I would like to...lots of stress with little reward...

I have a lead for an Office Manager position, definitely more money...and better location...

It 's in Northern Virginia, working in the office with my mom...

If I get this job and want it and can get out of this apartment I could be moving as early as October 1st...

My parents are shitting themselves with excitement, even offered to let Dana and I live with them until we can get on our feet...I don't think we would...but it was a nice offer...

I'll keep everyone posted...
