Pictures

I'm not 100% sure how to post pictures...But here's how I do it.

What I did was download Picasa, which is a pretty neat program for organizing pictures and then download Hello which uses Picasa to post pictures into Blogger...It took a little time to figure it all out...but, it's easy to use once you figure it out. And at least they are useful programs.

One more picture...these are my shoes in Central Park, looking at The Gates. 

In case some of you never met Dana, or just forgot what she looks like, here she is holding the Thanksgiving Turkey she cooked.

Helloooooooooooooooooooooo!

I just spent the entire weekend trying to de-virus my computer. Can I just tell you, I HATE ALL COMPUTER VIRUSES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just a note, if any of you out there don't have SPYBOT or ADAWARE on your computer, download it now...wha ta lifesaver!

Dana made me promise that I would share a story about my callousness, so here it goes. For some inane reason Dana and I decided to switch sides on the bed (oh, what old farty couples do for a good time) ...well, in the middle of the night i sent Dana a flying elbow to the face (I was apparently dreaming about a UFC cage match). She woke up screaming something like "OW OW OW, MY EYE!!!!"...and though I woke up and heard her and realized what I did, I just rolled over and fell back asleep without even asking if she was ok, so she spent the rest of the night worrying that she would wake up with a black eye. In the morning when she asked me about it, I denied everything and told her I never woke up and did not remember anything. It wasn't until later that I told her that I knew everything, and just pretended to sleep through it...and she made me promise to tell y'all...

I am so mad, A Current Affair is on instead of the Simpsons. What kind of crap is that????

i'm excited.

well, i hope the rest of you are as excited about this beach trip as i am. i need some time away from work and f'burg. plus the idea of sitting around, shooting the poop on a nice warm sunny beach sounds like a fantastic thing. this time it's not a wedding, so sandy and i will actually be able to talk to everyone else, and not be preoccupied with family. :) mark has a small bit of concern if he is going to be the only boyfriend/husband there, though. i told him that dana is coming, and somehow that wasn't much consolation to him. i pointed out that most of the time, i'm the only girl hanging out with his friends, and he rallied with the notion that "his" friends are more "our" friends than you lot. i explained that this is because we don't hang out with you guys as much. he's just concerned that i won't have as much fun if he's there, and that he'll be left out. or something ridiculous like that. there are stories to be told, and beer to drink, how could he feel left out of that? :)

Accomodations

I was looking around on the Website Meg posted...on the accomodations page...I really like the Bay Road Cottages. They have good weekend rates in May and we could get a couple of cottages...some of the bigger ones sleep 6 adults with beds and pull outs and lofts and they have screened in porches...

Any weekend in May works for me...except Memorial Day weekend. Lets just decide quick so we can take off work asnd make reservations and budgets...

Tomorrow is the St. Patrick's Day parade around here, it sports 15 pipe bands and various other parading groups.......Remember those days, drinking $4 pitchers of GREEN Natty Lite?
