One Week

One more week!!! It has come up so fast! What time is everyone getting to Rehoboth? I will begetting there around three, which is when Amanda says we can check in. How about everyone else?

I am bursting with excitement!

Tiffany, I am so sad you aren't coming to the beach with us. You are always so much fun.

As each of you have joined I made sure everyone was an administrator--so, everyone can make any changes that they want--such as, I just changed the template again...just out of sheer boredom.

JESSICA!!! Did you find your way out of the web abyss and join our blog???

Alicen--My plan for Delaware is to leave Friday morning (Around 10am...to try to get the tail end of traffic--but this could change too, I could get antsy as it gets closer and decide to leave at 4am--my driving time of choice to get the hell off of L0ng Island) and drive back up on Sunday afternoon...

And, just to pile one more thing on my rather poor luck lately...I have a stye in my eye! Yup, I have an eye pimple. It really hurts.

Also, in bad news, yesterday I had to retire my MWC plates and exchange them for very boring non-vanity NY plates. I haven't decided what I want to do with my old license plates...maybe frame them? I plan on getting the same plates here --just not MWC plates (which I guess, don't exist anymore, are they now UMW???) and I am not sure when...maybe for my birthday.

Happy Weekend Everyobody!!!

whaaaat???

whaaaaat??? i don't know where i was, but i COMPLETELY missed tiffany telling us that she's not coming to the beach with us. poopy ass!

i also think everyone's animals are cute and cuddly. i'd post my own pictures, but mark's all super neurotic and when i mentioned we'd started a blog, his first comment was "do NOT put any pictures on it, especially any of you". mark is funny. talk about being direct. he'll just tell you something, and not really explain what the thought process behind it was. no "don't put your picture on the blog because you've already had too many identity theft issues and don't want to risk more issues", just "don't put any pictures on it". i think this is what separates men from women. once i drag a complete explanation out of him, his advice is quite sound. it just comes out of left field sometimes. :) so now i'll just have to bring some pictures of my darling kitties to the beach. oh well. that's it for me.

and for those who are in favor of "kidnapping" a certain harrisonburg resident, say around may 6th, we're going to have to chip in for gas. this $2.15 a gallon crap sucks.

This is Tonks' first bath...quite a wet little weasel. Posted by Hello

Computer Hell

So, I am back from computer hell. I thought I would actually have to PAY SOMEONE to get the spyware and infections off of my computer, but (knock on wood) it seems to be fixed! I just could not imagine having to pay someone to fix my stupid computer--at best buy it costs $60 just to LOOK at it, even though I could tell them WHAT WAS WRONG, they insisted that I pay them to look at it so they could tell me what was wrong...and then I would have to pay them another $40 or more to actually fix it. But, thankfully, everything is running full steam ahead...

I think that it is SOOOO COOOL that Amanda and Heather were quoted in the Washington Post. I think it is the best paper in the whole world. Evedryone here reads Newsday--which is SUCH A CRAPPY CRAPPY paper.

Amanda, I cannot imagine how tough it must be to have your mom and sister staying with you, even though they really needed to leave your father. You are a very good daughter and sister...and two car accidents...at least we have Rehoboth...

Alicen--my offer still stands to give you a ride to Delaware if you want it...

Kate, I am an Admin. Assist. for a company that owns and operates 16 apartment complexes on Long Island; I work with the property managers (and isn't that a pink collar ghetto dead end job!!!) and am starting to train to be one, one day. Ahhh, career aspirations...my real plan is just to get enough "real world experience" to be able to move somewhere and do something much more fulfilling...that could be anywhere and almost anything...

Jess, if it makes you feel better--I had to work on Easter too...I've been working Sundays as a rental office for extra money...I meant to do it once or twice, but now it's every Sunday...Money is nice, and every little bit helps...

I miss everyone so so so so so much...I cannot wait until May 6th!
Tiffany, I really wish you were coming too...

:)
